So let's get this party started. This is the third book in the Bridget Jones series and this is by far the cannonball that smashed everything readers really liked: Mark freaking Darcy. As I noticed from reviews I'm not alone in this. 

Bridget is 50 and still clueless. But now this doesn't look cute at all because she has children now and should be responsible, at least in some way. And she's got a lover 20 years younger than her. And she met him on twitter. Is this a real life?

There were disgusting and face-palm moments, there were cute moments. And eventually she ended up with the right guy. All is fine etc. But why why why ON EARTH the author decided to kill Darcy? I mean wasn't he like the most interesting part in all this story? Or the most reasonable? I don't get it. To create a conflict? Or what? Jeez, 2 stars.
