Girl Online by Zoe Sugg

I sincerely thought Zoe Sugg wrote it all by herself. Seriously, plot is not that complicated as well as writing. And characters are pretty shallow. You don’t have to have any special talent to write something like this. So I was pretty upset after reading rumors that it was ghost-written. Why on Earth you start writing if you are not able and it’s not your thing? Seriously, this doesn’t make sense. But, on the other hand, someone should write books for travelling or waiting in queues.

The protagonist is almost Zoe herself. The way Penny’s really uninteresting private blog got so many followers so fast was funny, surreal and dumb. There is lots of other hilariously dumb stuff in this book as well but I should admit it has its charm. I liked all the NYC moments as well as Brighton’s, they were interesting to read and imagine. After reading I wanted to move to NY so badly like even more than usual. Noah was pretty much interesting too. I would definitely read this story from his perspective.

To conclude: do not expect much from this book. Just a light, naïve reading. Of course, there will be other books ‘cause apparently that’s a series.
